The 3 leaks killing medspa conversions (and how to patch them)

Dead contact forms, unclear pricing signals, and zero trust indicators. Here's what to fix first when you're hemorrhaging leads.

You're paying for traffic, but conversions are flat. The problem isn't always your marketing. It's usually one of these three silent killers hiding on your medspa website.

Leak #1: Dead or broken contact forms

This is the most common and most frustrating issue. Your form looks fine, but:

  • Submissions aren't reaching your inbox (they're in spam, or the form handler is misconfigured)
  • No confirmation message shows up, so visitors think nothing happened and leave
  • The form requires too many fields, causing mobile users to abandon it

The fix: Test your form yourself. Fill it out from multiple devices, check spam folders, and add a clear confirmation message. Consider reducing required fields to just name, email, and treatment interest.

Leak #2: Zero pricing transparency

Potential clients want to know if they can afford you before they book. Hiding all pricing information doesn't make you look premium. It makes you look evasive.

The fix: You don't need to list exact prices for every treatment, but you can provide ranges, starting prices, or comparisons (for example, "most Botox treatments range from $300 to $600"). This filters out price-shoppers while attracting serious inquiries.

Leak #3: No trust signals or social proof

Cosmetic procedures are personal and carry perceived risk. Without reviews, credentials, or before/after photos, visitors have no reason to trust you over competitors.

The fix: Add:

  • Google reviews or testimonials near the top of key pages
  • Practitioner credentials and certifications
  • Before/after galleries (with proper consent, of course)
  • Awards, memberships, or industry affiliations

Bottom line: Fix these three leaks before spending more on ads. More traffic won't help if your site is bleeding conversions at every step.
